Unarmed Security Officer – Macon, GA Area

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access points to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
• Deter and detect unlawful activity.
• Observe, identify, and report any safety or security incidents promptly and accurately.
• Maintain clear and concise written reports of incidents, daily activities, and observations.
• Provide courteous customer service and assistance to visitors, employees, and contractors.
• Resolve conflicts calmly and professionally, employing conflict‑resolution techniques when necessary.
• Follow established procedural compliance and safety management protocols.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and other incidents in accordance with established incident‑response guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with law enforcement, fire services, and internal management as required.

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (or comparable experience).
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required state security certifications or licenses.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Basic computer literacy for reporting and record‑keeping.

Desired Experience & Skills

• Prior experience in unarmed security or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability in conflict resolution and customer service.
• Capability to conduct patrol operations effectively and reliably.

Salary & Benefits
